The Annika Åman-Goodwille Scholarship

The Annika Åman-Goodwille Scholarship was setup to support the ongoing commitment by the Goodwille family to maintain and foster closer connections between the UK and Sweden. In the spirit of the founders entrepreneurial spirit the relevant candidate should show strong entrepreneurial skills and/or a post gymnasium qualification within a set of areas outlined below. The successful candidate would have the opportunity to gain international experience by joining the Swedish Chamber of Commerce for the UK in London for a period of 12 months. Should it suit all parties, there will be an option to continue in the UK with Goodwille.

About Goodwille

Goodwille was established by Annika Åman-Goodwille in 1997 to help Swedish businesses enter and be successful in the UK, through its flexible range of professional business services. Remaining a family-owned business, Goodwille has helped over 2,000 companies primarily from the Nordic region to enter the UK market, including many high-profile Swedish brands such as Lindex, Zettle & Readly.

Goodwille has supported the Chamber as a member and Patron in that time, as well as other institutions core to the Swedish community in the UK, where they are well regarded for their extensive experience & no-nonsense approach. Offering professional business services within 5 core departments; Corporate Governance, Finance, Payroll, People Management and Virtual Office Services.

In commemoration of Goodwille's Founder and the company's 25th year history, it was felt fitting to sponsor a Scholar at the Chamber.

Eligibility

To apply for the scholarship the potential candidate would have one and ideally both of the following:

  • Completed post gymnasium qualification or degree/ further studies in a legal, financial/payroll or HR field, from a University, Högskola or equivalent.
  • Proof of strong entrepreneurial spirit/activity.

Due to visa requirements, applicants must not have turned 26 years of age on or before 1 May 2025.

Applications for the 2025/2026 scholarship are now open. Please send your CV and personal letter in English to Fredrik Warneryd, Chief Executive at the SCC, via e-mail applications@scc.org.uk, latest by 15 January 2025. Include “Scholarship Application 2025/26” in the subject line.

Please note that this is a general application process — candidates don’t apply for a specific scholarship but will be matched with the most suitable opportunity once selections are finalised.
