Board of Directors
The Board of Directors constitutes representatives from a broad spectrum within the membership and is elected at the Annual General Meeting, with its members serving three-year rotations. The Board appoints the Managing Director, who is responsible for the day-to-day operations and ensures continuous updates on issues of importance to the Chamber. Five committees have been established to support its work; the Executive, Finance, Nomination, Marketing and Industrial Forum Committees respectively. The Chair is nominated by the Board of Directors and approved by the Members. The current Chair, since 2022, is Peter Jelkeby, CEO & CSO of IKEA UK and Ireland.
