UK has long been Sweden’s closest trading partner, offering Swedish businesses a large domestic market, but also a gateway to the rest of the world. That is probably one of the reasons for the 1000+ Swedish businesses already present on the UK market. But with the current business climate, and Brexit around the corner, comes added complexities for Swedish businesses wanting to set up here. Why should UK be the next step in your expansion? What key considerations should Swedish start-ups expanding to the UK make? What are the lessons learned from entrepreneurs and businesses who have already succeeded in taking their business to the UK?
For over a century, the Swedish Chamber of Commerce for the UK has been here to support businesses with know-how, experience, connections, door-openers and taking business step-by-step into the UK. Until now, business services have always been provided by the chamber, but never before by a dedicated team. As part of our mission, we have teamed up with relevant partners over the year such as the UK Department of International Trade and Startup Sweden. This webinar and panel discussion frames how and what Swedish start-ups can learn when expanding to the UK by listening to entrepreneurs who have already made this journey, and how we can help and support along the way.
