H.E. Ms Judith Gough CMG, The British Ambassador to Sweden
Judith Gough became the British Ambassador to Sweden in August 2019. From 2015 to 2019 she was British Ambassador to Ukraine. Ms Gough joined the Foreign & Commonwealth Office in 2001 and has been engaged with Eastern Europe and Central Asia for over 20 years, previously serving as Director for the region and Her Majesty’s Ambassador in Tbilisi. Ms Gough has also served in the British Embassy in Seoul and, prior to joining the FCO, worked as a consultant at EY, in Emerging Markets and Financial Services.

Håkan Jevrell, State Secretary for Trade

Håkan Jevrell, State Secretary for Trade
Before being appointed State Secretary, Mr. Jevrell was Special Envoy on Organised Crime at the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs. He has also served as Ambassador to Singapore and as the Swedish Representative in Taiwan. He was State Secretary to the Minister of Defence (2007-2010 and 2010-2012). Holding a degree in law from Stockholm and Hannover universities, Mr. Jevrell has served as a Public Prosecutor in Stockholm. He is also a Reserve Officer in the Swedish Navy, holding the rank of Captain.

Carl Pihlgren, Partner, Regional Tax & Law Leader, EY Nordics
Before joining EY Carl worked at the Administrative Court of Appeal in Gothenburg. He currently works with multinational companies, inbound and outbound investments as well as international M&A. He was previously based in London and New York where he worked at the Swedish Tax Desk. Carl is a Director at the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce in New York and a frequent speaker at different tax seminars in Sweden and abroad and a diligent publisher of articles focusing on tax matters.

Magnus Pettersson, Chief Expansion Officer, Mindler
Magnus holds an MSc in Industrial Engineering from KTH and has 8+ years of experience in the FMCG industry, both in the Nordics and in Africa. Magnus joined Mindler in 2019 as one of its initial employees. As COO, Magnus was assuming various responsibilities and collaborating closely with the founders to establish Mindler's foundation. He is now responsible for Mindler's expansion to new markets as well as M&A and is looking after Mindler's operations in the UK and Denmark as a Country Manager.

Kira Unger is the CEO and co-founder of Pocketlaw, a legal tech SaaS company with over 500 customers in the Nordics, UK and Germany. Before starting Pocketlaw, Kira Unger was an M&A lawyer at the leading Nordic business law firm Mannheimer Swartling. Kira Unger has a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Stockholm University.

Ranj Begley, Managing Director UK | Chief Content Officer, Readly
Ranj is the MD and Chief Content Officer at Readly, a Swedish tech media streaming service that offers access to thousands of magazines & newspapers worldwide, with over 25 years of experience in media and publishing. She joined Readly in 2014 to launch and expand its UK operation, and since then she has successfully established its presence in nine other countries. She has been instrumental in securing awards and recognition for Readly, as well as taking it through the IPO process and listing it on NASDAQ.

Kevin Rutter is the CEO of Goodwille, a professional services business helping startups and scaleups to flourish in the UK. A qualified chartered accountant, Kevin has extensive experience advising and supporting foreign owned businesses through their UK expansion journey.

Fredrik Warneryd is the Chief Executive for the Swedish Chamber of Commerce for the UK, one of the largest and most active foreign chambers in the UK. Prior to joining the Chamber, Fredrik held many leading positions in the City of London. With more than 25 years of experience within the Nordic teams of French Banque Paribas, Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, UBS and Credit Suisse, he has earned extensive knowledge and expertise in both the UK and Nordic markets.

Anthony, brings 16+ years of expertise in Global Immigration. A UK qualified Solicitor with an LLB in law, he excels in supporting clients ranging from startups to Blue Chip companies. Anthony navigates all aspects of temporary and permanent migration. He tailors immigration compliance and risk management policies to align with clients' strategic goals. Anthony's focus on efficiency, compliance, and employee experience has led to successful redesigns of multinational immigration programs.

Björn supports Swedish companies interested in scaling to the UK. He has an understanding of the UK landscape in a number of different sectors related to the financial, tech and creative industries. The support provided to Swedish companies is free of charge and includes market information, introductions and showcasing of UK opportunities. In the last couple of years, Björn has arranged both physical and virtual delegations and accelerator programmes with a UK focus for Swedish start-ups and scale-ups.
