The spring issue of LINK out now

28 March 2024

Time to crack open the SCC's Easter egg - spring issue of LINK is out now!

LINK 368 is filled to the brim with stories from our vibrant community - from founders Lovisa Löwenborg and Houman Ashrafzadeh telling us about how they brought their ideas to life with Female Fund and Padium, to optimisation of data with iCore Solutions, and future-proofing of energy grids with Skyqraft.

The cover feature for this issue consists of a heartwarming story with Ludvig Andersson, producer for ABBA Voyage, about how what started out as a desire to make people happy ended up revolutionising the concert industry.

As ABBA's 50th anniversary with 'Waterloo' is approaching with Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, we also took the opportunity to speak with Saso Taneski at the official trophy provider Orrefors Kosta Boda AB, about Swedish glass-crafting industry and what ignited the collaboration.

Besides this, we're introducing 'A SCC Story' - where Tania Tandon shares a compelling story on how the SCC membership led to both friendships and a flourishing business.

Also in this issue:

  • We are delighted to welcome guest columnist Erik Fjellborg, Quinyx, who gives us three steps towards a less stressed workforce.
  • Anna-Karin Edstedt Bonamy, CEO of Doctrin gives an update on the MoU in Life Sciences between Sweden and the UK.

  • Melina Jacovou, Propel, shares her insights from the SLUSH conference in Helsinki.

  • We introduce the Saven Scholarship, made possible by generous donations from Inger and Björn Savén.

  • Per-Olof Emanuelsson, Chairman of the Society of Swedish Engineers in Great Britain, on the Society's 100-year anniversary.

  • A dive into the key takeaways from the SCC’s Nordic M&A Forum at Drapers' Hall.
