The Humber Chapter is based in Immingham and covers much of the east coast of England, Humberside and the East Midlands. The region has long and strong links with the Nordic countries, not the least with its many historically important sea ports. Immingham, the seat, is one of them, and some the shipping companies in the region were founding members of the Chamber back in 1906. The East Midlands region is traditionally strong in manufacturing, transportation and food and beverages.
