Elof Hansson Foundation Scholarship

The Elof Hansson Foundation is a long-term supporter of academic education and training in the commercial sector. As of 2021, it supports a young talent from the School of Business, Economics and Law at Gothenburg University to gain international experience through joining the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in London for a 12 month period.

About the foundation

The Elof Hansson Foundation was created in 1985 through a donation by Bo-Elof Hansson. The Elof Hansson company is a global business facilitator for buyers and sellers of pulp, paper and timber. The foundation supports academic education, research and training in the commercial sector. The main focus is on trade and business activities such as marketing, international trade, accounting, commercial law and business language, and it has long standing partnership with Chalmers University of Technology and the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg.
